In winter, backcountry skis, split boards, and/or snowshoes (some sort of flotation) are highly recommended. It is advised that you or someone in your group has backcountry skiing experience and winter navigation skills.
Most of the route to the hut is multi-use so expect to see other outdoor recreationalists on snowmobiles, skis, snowshoes, snowboards, and fat bikes. Please respect all users.
This hut experience was created for non-motorized travel. We believe snowmobile use detracts from this unique experience therefore we promote only human powered access to the hut.
Most people will carry a backpack and/ or haul a pulk sled with belongings. If you would like a gear shuttle at an additional cost, please inquire over email when booking.

Please be cognizant of where you park - do not block other cars. It is advisable to park with your “first move forward” ie back into your parking area upon arriving so that when you leave, your first move is forward. In the event of lots of snow, you will be grateful!
